Building Industry Hypermarket COMPLEX

Next to being the capital of Alborz Province, City of Karaj also happens to be one of the largest cities of Iran. The city is located at the base of Alborz Ranges with an elevation of 1300 meters above the sea level. According to the official census taken in 2011, the population of the city stands at 1,614,626 making Karaj the fourth most densely populated city in Iran after cities of Tehran, Mashhad, and Esfahan, respectively. Furthermore, after Tehran, City of Karaj currently hosts the largest number of immigrants, and also compared to other cities in the country, it has the youngest population. At present, Karaj is considered to be one of the megacities of the nation with the highest annual rate of population growth. The City of Karaj has a great number of manufacturing and industrial units which are spread out throughout the city or are concentrated within industrial complexes. Two of the best examples amongst others are Simin Dasht and Baharestan industrial complexes which together have over 470 active manufacturing units as well as another 950 which are located either in different parts of the city or around it.
